And no, I did not eat all this on Saturday. I did taste a raspberry macaroon for the first time though and found it rather nice.
The stall below belongs to local artist Terry Angelos. She is responsible for my gorgeous Christmas present.
See the bird picture in the bottom left-hand corner? I am suffering from huge regret for not buying it! The perfect mate for my rabbit.
The toys in the pics below were made by Angelica Pelati. I absolutely love the zombie/day of the dead ones.
Here are the links to some of my other market favourites that I just didn’t get a chance to photograph:
- Genevieve Motley - My favourite earrings in the world come from here. Walking past this stall without spending money is hard, so very hard.
- Whimsy
- Ikhaya - They stock the Sootcookie ceramic animals that I am coveting at the moment. One day…
- Miss Happ
And finally, a pic of the stadium, one of my favourite places in Durban and easily the best stadium to come from the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
PS. Check out the posters from the last three years of I Heart Market here. They are well worth a look.

One of my favourite places as well!! Love their posters!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I would love to attend something like this. Farmer's Markets are so relaxing and full of good smells and sights.
